Rear twins question

I'm looking at newer AS rear twin trailers. Are the mattreses custom fit to the curves in the trailers? If not, are there standard mattresses that will fit? I assume that the "head" of the bed is toward the rear of the trailer with the night stand between. Fog

You are correct the head is to the rear and the mattreses are cut to fit the curves. Nightstand is inbetween the beds.

I always thought the curved end was "feet" end. There are overhead reading lights above the other end, which seems to indicate that's where your head would go...

On our '04 25' Safari, the curved ends have the night stand between them and the other end has the hanging closets, so at least on ours you can't put your head on that end.

Yep our '01 was the same way. There is a very nice hanging cabinet over the end of each twin. Your head should be at the curved end. I guarantee you that you will see stars at night if you sleep under that cabinet.

I have tried sleeping at both ends and prefer the "wide" end for my head versus the curved end. I also assumed that this the end for your head since the reading light was there.

If you sleep with your head at the wide end, you could also have a tv on the nightstand if you wanted. I have to think the wide end is the end for your head.

Yes there is a fold down mirror shelf on the curb side cabinet. On the wall behind the side window curtain is power and a cable hookup.

Early versions of the rear twins had the "head" and the reading lights on the wide end. Don't know when they made the change over but reading light and factory spreads now favor the curved end.
