Rarities and oddballs

If you have photos and or information on an odd or limited production Airstream product (like the fifth wheel, squarestream, etc)... please pm or email me.
I would appreciate it and will explain the project to you in the return messages.

Panoramic windows front and rear

Alan -

I have in several threads tried to get an idea about if what I have on my coach is indeed a rare thing, or not. Front and rear Panaramic wrap-arounds. I was unable to get any info about my question since there are no stats of this kind info kept on that sort of thing. Didn't hear from any other double pano owners either....

I have yet to see another unit like it though.

Hope this meets the criteria you are planning for - sounds interesting....????

Let me know if there is more that I can do!

Ciao

Axel

Axel, do you by any chance have 34" 90's model that was seen on I-75 near the Atlanta airport in early January with Ohio plates?

Just kidding, but we did see a trailer like you are describing and wondered about the windows. In fact, that's why I remember it. We couldn't figure out why the wrap arounds were on the front AND back, except as maybe a special order. It was a really nice camper, tho.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Jim

We have a 34' in our unit with the double wraparounds. Looks like a late 80s or early 90s unit (not widebody). Must have been an option at that time.

Neat pictures Rog. I've never seen a woody Airstream before. An interesting concept. Thanks for sharing them.

yes cool stuff. Not sure if Iwill be writing so much about the customized ones, but its always possible. My main concept is ones that were limited factory items due to market conditions, styling, or simply non-acceptance by the buyers.

Hi Alan,

I'll bump your thread. Out of curiosity, are you writing an article to be published in our favorite Airstream quarterly magazine?

Tom
