Questions

I've asked these questions in other sections of this forum with little to no response, so I'll try here. See my "renewal" post from a couple of months ago for our situation.

IF - and that's a big if at this point - we decide to go for an Airstream, we're most interested in a 34' coach. This past weekend we drove right by an Airstream dealer, so we stopped in in hopes that they would have a 30' coach. We knew they wouldn't have a 34' one. We saw two. One was a brand-new one on the showroom floor. Airstream has gotten rid of the two credenza tables, which was the feature we really wanted to see. Then we walked to the rear, and discovered that we couldn't walk around the bed, even though it was one of the folding beds that supposedly gives more walk-around room.

Questions #1 and #2: When both credenza tables are out, is there room to fit between them? How much walk-around room is there in the mid-to-late 90's coaches?

One of the coaches that would otherwise be interesting to us is listed in the Classifieds. The ad says that it was converted from a queen bed to twin beds. We definitely want a queen bed.

Question #3: How difficult would it be to convert that bedroom back to a queen bed?

The salesman mentioned that Airstream now includes a thermal break on the ribs so that cold/heat is not as easily transferred from outside to inside.

Question #4: Is this really true? If so, when did that start?

Apologies for this useless reply. I don't know the answers to your questions but didn't want to leave you hanging like Tom Brady trying to get a high 5 on his own sideline :-)

I'm sure others will chime in with something meaningful. Good luck!
