Proud to announce. . .

we made our decision! We're the new owners of a 1995 Airstream Limited 30'. Modestly. . .she's beautiful! It's like the birth of a premie, though-we have to wait to bring her home. The PO will tow her to us later next week. We are still shopping for a tow vehicle that will pull her safely. (Apologies, Dr. C! That feminine pronoun slipped into our announcement without a warning! Does she have a name? She hasn't told us yet.) Our BIG thanks, Roger, and others who have shared your insight to help us make our choice. You'll never know how much we appreciated your advice when we asked! Our first trip will be to Bennet Springs for spring trout fishing and to test all systems. We will schedule a check up with Bill Thomas in St. Louis and then head Out West or Up North for some summer fun. She'll make any beautiful campsite even more so. Warning--sometimes you get what you dream for!

That's in southwest Missouri, for those of you not from here. An excellent choice. I much prefer to be up on the hill, even with the electric only hookup, but if you are fishing the full hookup pull throughs down by the river are more convenient.

Congrats....for a few stops you might consider the midwest meet in central Illinois this June and/or the midwest meet in Mackinaw this July. Just a thought.

You can find info on these rallys by going to the search button and typing in Midwest Rally.

top of the hill

We agree, Mark. The lower campground is tempting with that gorgeous spring branch running along side, and we may "chicken out" and choose a pull through since we are a little intimidated by our extra length. But we like the woodsy upper campgrounds better too. I hope we get to go while dogwoods and redbuds are in bloom, but we may have to wait a few weeks to get away. Even so, Bennett is a beautiful place to be! Any time we go, I feel the presense of my dad. This was his favorite "fishing hole!"

Thumbs up congrats!

There is something very special about the day you buy your Airstream. I hope you'll enjoy many years with it! I'm pleased that I could contribute in some small fashion. Please try to make the Moraine View event. We'd love to see you and your new trailer in person!

Roger

I'm GREEN with envy, and can hardly wait until our new 30' Limited is built and ready for pickup sometime near the end of April/beginning of May. That's right in the midst of our Dogwood and Redbud bloom here in PA, not to mention our best trout fishing too!

Good luck and enjoy!

John

Wow congratulations Max&Georgia!

It sure would be nice if your trailer came in about the time of the local WBCCI unit rally (starts April 15) that the Bill Thomas dealership is hosting at his place. You could spend a few days with us there and then have them tow it back to your place. Cost for the rally is cheap ($8.00 per unit).

Let me know if you need more information.

Regards,

Jack
