The calendar is definitely the best. Would you give consideration to starting a second calendar that individuals could use to post their camping plans and future activities for everyone to view. The second calendar would be used more for private camping trips and activities and would alert other members when a friend may be near by. I am sure paths cross much more than one would imagine. For example I will be at Bayou Segnette State Park near New Orleans and would like to know if anyone from the group would happen to be in the area so I could say hi.
One calendar for sponsored events and activities and one for personal. One calendar maybe sufficient but I would not want to clutter it up with activities of a more personal nature.
There is no ETA when I could have that done, but I will check into it.
For now, there is a private event feature that will allow you to post your own events. They are not seen by others, but it may be useful tool in planning.
