Port Starboard Weight Distribution

First of All, I did spend some time searching and found lots of weight distribution threads, but all were about fore/aft. I am new to Airstream and in going over my new-to-me Bambi, it seems like most of the weight is on the drivers side. Tanks are there, the kitchen is there, the bathroom is there. Is there some major weight on the passenger side that counteracts this? Is the difference too small to matter? It seems like towing with empty tanks becomes pretty important. The wisdom of the elders is appreciated.

We have seen no side-to-side weight problems in the 17 years we have had our 19' Bambi and we tow with the freshwater tank full. A little over a year ago, we replaced the axle because it was sagging some. Interestingly enough, it was the curb (passenger) side that sagged the most.

Reason...not a whole lot you can do about it, 8' wide against how ft. long? Not a lot of room to move stuff.

Tanks run most of the way across under the trailer. Curbside awnings weigh a lot if you have one. I always travel with fresh water tank nearly full. Put me in the “ it does not matter much” camp.

If you are really interested, you can find a place where they will weigh each tire position separately, as well as tongue weight. Escapees offers that service at their Livingston park, and it goes on the road several times a year, usually to various rallies. I believe they call their service Smart Weigh, and there are probably others that can do the same thing. Another possibility would be a grain elevator or scrap/recycling place that has a scale with enough room to put only one side on the scale at a time. Most of the CAT scales I've seem at truck stops are too narrow to allow that.
