Picked up my Airstream today (Kind of)

So , I live in Alaska and bought an airstream down south in Louisiana(my home town) for when I visit, and of course go camping with my family.

The owner lives in Wisconsin, selling the Airstream in his Aunts back yard in Church Point Louisiana... Saw it on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago. I had a friend look at it,sent my check To Wisconsin and finally check cleared and my Sister and Brother picked it up today. So I''ll tell you a little about my sister and my conversation a few weeks ago. She asked why I wanted an "old" airstream. I tried to explain , she didn't understand....until today.

She has never been in an Airstream. She texted me at 6am my time, her text said " Thank you , I love it" hehehe She also called me when she and my brother were setting it up across the street from her house. She kept saying things like "oh look at the stove, the lights, this opens look at the sliver cabinet handles. look the AC works , look at the couch oh man, Amy I'm going camping in it next weekend, I never knew they were so cool" SHe also kept commenting on the doors out side of the Airstream , She's hooked !

I cannot wait to see it on May 12th, I have to wait until then

You are going to love it, and 68 is a great year.

Congrats on your purchase. Are you sure it will still be yours by the time May comes around?

I'm so excited for you! I'm glad it all worked out. The next month will zip by and you can plan all the fun plates and accessories you'll add when you get there.

I called her to ask if the curtain tracks were above the windows so that I can kind of plan to make curtains when I get there and she said they were, but for me not to worry about anything . She'd have it all taken care of by the time I get home!

She even asked me what I had planned for the floor because she was thinking of getting some lineolium ! I told her I expected to put like a laminent floor down and she then asked me what color dark or light because she wanted to match the wood !

She is my older sister , I am the youngest.....You can probably see why I moved to Alaska.....Hahaha but I could save lots of money on this deal since I never asked her to do anything she can't charge me right?

I sure do miss her ...funny how I left because of them always being in my business and now I miss them being in my business...

I plan to move back in a couple more years and the Airstream is step one...

I look at things I'd like in the Airstream all the time, but until I see her and step inside I will not know what will fit correctly you know?

But as you can see from my previous post I may not need to set up anything with my older sister around.
