I suppose showing this pair of ditzy, self-absorbed little brats driving cross-country with an Airstream in tow demonstrates one thing above all else: that our trailers were in fact designed to be used by even the most simple of minds. (Pun intended.)

I only watched a couple of episodes of the previous show since I found it too unbelievable to consider it reality. A lot of those shots were set up and I just can't believe in some cases that the production staff haven't had some conversation with the others in the shot. I take it for what comic value it has. If it didn't deal with the trailer, I probably wouldn't give it a glance.

Yeah, the camera crew was probably a dead giveaway that something was going on We used to enjoy watching 'the real world' but grew tired of it when it became apparent that everyone they delt with in public were mostly idiots attracted like moths to a flame by the cameras. Still, watching young adults taking themselves SO seriously still has it's entertainment value.

Can't wait to watch the Airstream Show, co-starring Hilton and Richie (as long as the airstream's the star)!

FWIW, Nicole Richie is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie.

The sordid details are here:

THE tow truck and trailer spotted

Eyewitness spotting --

The trailer and tow truck made famous by the dirty duo blew by me eastbound on I-44 midway between Oke City and Tulsa on Friday, April 30th, about 9:00 AM.

Don't know who was driving it, I was doing my usual 63 mph, an I estimate they were doing 80.

Right after passing me they (the driver) pulled into an Oklahoma Pay-Per-Mile friendly roadside McDucks.

Hard to miss the pink-purple four door pickup with the over tinted dark windows.

BTY, the trailer was sporting a REALLY bad repair to an obvious backup dent covering the rear entire upper curbside corner.

Looks as if someone beat it out with a ball-peen hammer.

Didn't pull in after them to see who was actually driving, but there did not appear to be a chase vehicle or a camera crew tailing the trailer/pickup rig.

Could be the trailer was on its way back to Jackson Center for some much needed repair.

Hey, funny Dennis! We were all wondering how long until they smashed that baby up. And still wondering how they did on dumping the tanks!

St. Louis sighting

Paris & Nicole passed me heading south on I-270 in southwest St. Louis County about 3:00 PM last Friday afternoon. They were in the left lane easily doing 80 in a 65 MPH zone. As it's been said, it was hard to miss the truck!

By my calculations that is not less than 470 miles in six hours. Lets see, they were just about to stop for a break, they'd need at least one fuel stop, a couple of toll booths.... Hmmm.

I think I am going to forgo the obvious double entendre here and just observe that they have a very high average speed.
