First, I'd settle on a budget. I wouldn't go into debt to get raised panel cabinet doors.
Next I'd make a list of things that really matter, like a bed that's not up against the wall on three sides, or a shower that you can stand up in, or a seating area that is usable during a quick lunch stop without converting something else.
Then, look at the smallest unit that fills those needs. If you gotta have granite countertops then the classic is for you. Others will be happy with a Bambi. If you're full timing in it, then bigger is probably better, although I've seen people living in a 10' camper with an Alaskan sled dog.
Most people spend a year looking. Go to dealers in your area and look at a all of them. Don't be bashful, the sales man would like a sale, but it shouldn't be high pressure like a car. Lay in the bed, close the bathroom door while inside, pretend you're watching TV, or cooking. Be a good customer too, take your shoes off.
Frankly, searching is just as much fun as owning.
