Our visit to AS factory last Monday (photos)...

Last Monday (March 17, 2003) my wife and I went on the Airstream factory tour. Needless to say, this did not alleviate the lust for an AS Bambi. The last photo in the series you wil see the tushie end of our dream....a Bambi LS that has the Safari upgrade. Our tour-guide Don, was patient with all 10-12 of us that happened to be in Jackson Center for that tour. Some of the photos were shot in the back of the visitors center/service center. I don't know who's trailers these are, but they were pretty cool.

Enjoy.

Intresting pictures, thanks.
My only regret is that they are not labled, although most are self explanatory.

By the way are they permanently posted here or is their longevity subject to another server/computer service?

Great Pictures!

I enjoyed them, as I had been to the factory in November. One thing I regret that I did not see is any riveting going on. It would be nice to see a riveter in operation, as well as the shaving process.

Pick

Check out #29, the ear plugs are a give away. I used to wear ear plugs and ear muffs and the noise still drove me nuts.
