Our First Fix

With this being our first summer taking our baby out & about, we're not only enjoying ourselves, but we're discovering new and different ways of testing the limits of our camper. Last time out we broke a window. First reaction was, great, another trip to the dealer. But then we decided to try to replace it ourselves, ordering the glass from airstream through the dealer.
The glass arrived three days ago and we finally got around for the major job of replacement yesterday. Imagine our surprise when it turned out to be a fun and liberating experience for my wife and I!
Not that we want to break anything else, but we find ourselves a little prouder and worthy and connected now. Just can't wait to take her out again.

Many repairs to Airstream can be done, by the owners, as long as they have a few tools, and deal with a dealer that can provide repair instuctions, along with the proper parts.
