we are about to take the plunge on our first airstream. we are wanting to go purchase a 1972 Globetrotter in the next day or two. I'm hoping these are good trailers. any opinions on these? this particular one received a minor interior restoration a few years back with wood laminate floors, new counter tops, upholstery, curtains. there are practically no dings on the outside.
any thoughts about this model or this year? it has the front dinette which we prefer and the side couch that converts to a bed and rear bath.
were there any trouble spots on this year or model to watch for? it has spent its entire life in the southwest so it seems pretty solid.
