Although it is typical of Los Angeles to shoot films late at night, this is no movie. It is one of the several fires here in the county.

My prayers go out to all in the AS community and surrounding cities that are having to deal with out of control, wild-fires. May your prayers be answered.

I hope thier insurance is up to date. Remember, the "things" in life can be replaced. YOUR life can't.

The noon news out of Malibu and southern California about their firestorms sounds just horrendous~terrifying. Let's all hold our many forum members and everyone living in the area in our hearts and prayers today. Be safe, and fill us in on your situations when you are able to do so. Much concerned, G

Our noon news is reporting the deployment of local fire fighting teams, probably including my neighbor. With that said, Lynn and I are ready to head south for the NorCal LSA Rally. We know of perhaps two firefighters that we expect to see there but will not be suprised to hear of their deployment. Our excitement for this Rally is dampened knowing that a few miles south of Lake San Antonio so many are in great peril. May they all be protected from tragedy and many thanks to the brave firefighters.
