Oh Black Water, Keep on Rollin'!

I was recently shopping for a birthday present for the old ball and chain when I came across a "Various Artist" compilation CD called "Trailer Tunes." On the cover was a photo of an Airstream. Now I almost had to buy this goofy CD for him just because of that photo - the songs weren't anything I thought we would listen to. Then I thought about it and decided to save the $12 and burn my own!

SO here's my dilemma.........what songs to put on it? Any suggestions? Of course I would have to put Black Water on there........(giggle) That song rolls through my head EVERY time we have to do anything with our black water tank. On the road again! Just can't wait to get on the road again!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Tracy

Maybe King of the Road by Roger Miller?

It starts with "Trailers for sale or rent..."

Being that our trailer's name is Maxwell (in honor of the original owner) we like the Beatles' song "Maxwell's silver hammer..." hopefully it won't take a hammer to "fix" our Maxwell...

Great Thread

"Two Lane Highway" by Pure Prairie League. One of the best traveling songs. A must have.

If you are going to use The Doobie Brothers' "Black Water" you might as well include their song "Rocking Down the Highway".

Also, a great driving song is "Heavy Fuel" by Dire Straits.

Any driving compilation really ought to include "Mercury Blues" by the Steve Miller Band.

How about "Hit the road Jack,"...that's what she told me when I first asked her about buying an AS...but I finally convinced her she would love it....she does

I would also add "Baby You Can Drive my Car" by the Beatles and "Roadman" by Smashmouth.
