Novice to Airstream

Hi - just became owner of a 1976 31' International Sovereign, owners manual missing, so obviously I have a lot of questions.
1. Does anyone know where to get a copy?
2. In front of trailer are 2 compartments - each having a red and black cable
Quick connect type inside. Looks to be too small for batteries. What are those
3. There is a Bargman device laying on top of the front frame, next to the lift.
Think it's the Break-away switch. Then my next question is:
4. What type of breaks does the trailer have? Assuming regular shoe-brakes and
not electrical.

All for now.
Thanks in advance

Hi, And welcome to the Airforum!

Some manuals are available from Airstream, back to 98, on their website. You could look at the classified's here, ebay, etc. for the manual for your trailer.

Some photos of those things you are asking about would get you some real answers, but I will speculate based on your descriptions;
Compartments are for batteries.
Bargman switch is probably break away switch.
Brakes are electric, unless changed by a previous owner.
