November 11th, 2002; the story begins

4 years ago, day for day, I was in North Carolina to take away my new american toy, and what a toy; How wasit possible , at that date, it 'll be the beginning of a great story, a great adventure and a new way of life , just with a caravan... It's like a finger in the mechanic, it's becomen a passion and when i think, today, it's 4 years anniverssary, I can't believe it's only 4 years when i know how many time I've spent in this trailer , in restauring or simply appreciate this airstream life;

here is the story, from North carolina to France, 4 years ago:

Gosh, Bruno, that is quit a blog you have. Much more than I would be able to even comprehend.
I, too, enjoy motorcycles along with my Airstream. Check my photos for pics of how I take them both at the same time.

Have no intention of arriving at the grave safely, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand,throttle in the other, totally worn out and screaming

Hi Steelbird;
What a lift and that seems really easy and securely.
Sure my method with the HD engine is always a bit risked and I always wear my helmet ( my wife wants I wear it ) when I do the operation.
when i do that in campground, it's like I was the star... all people are there with the camera... in case of i fall.
Your system is unique... may be it''ll be on the market soon ?
So what do you use to cover during the travel... i don't arrive to find something waterproof to cover the entire mc;
I have tried with my outdoor cover but the wind with the speed, 'll destroy it.
if you have an adress,

Thank you by advance.

Bruno.

Bruno, I do not cover it while driving. I fear paint abrasion from dirty material flapping against it. When I arrive at my destination, then I clean it, and use my cover.
