North to south multiple times in the winter

This will be a broad questions looking for advice of any kind.
Someday I'd like to be able to leave Michigan in January and head south or west exploring warm areas for 2 - 3 months. For now that will be impossible.

Instead I will likely be able to head south for a week or two max, then head back north to Michigan for several weeks before the next trip.

Unfortunately we did not take delivery of our FC 30 twin until 11/2 and it has been winterized. I'm guessing that somewhere as I head south, I'll fill the fresh water tank and try our the plumbing for the first time. One the way back, I'll likely find an AS dealer and watch them winterize closely.

Then wash, rinse, repeat or do the winterization myself as I grow comfortable doing it.

Is there anyone out there that has also done the multiple Cold/Warm/Cold/Warm/C.......cycle? What have you learned and what advice would you give a RV beginner?

Thanks,
Bick
