Question New - "What is it?" From Bat Cave

This is a very cool "What is it?" from the past, it is about 16" at its widest point.

Hint - It came from Wallys store!

This one appears to have never been used.

Perhaps the owner did not know what it was!

I know what it is, do you?

Have fun!

I know, I think

You put it under the tongue jack and use it to walk the trailer around.

Some type of floor polisher or grinder assembly without the pads.

That's it! That was fast

Yes, it is a trailer walker....you can see it in the Airstream Life, I think 3rd edition, the one with the Wally Store article....Very Cool!

Thanks for the picture Richard.

it is a way to get your trailer on the ball without backing up a kazillion times.

you insert a bar in the angled pipe and lever the trailer into postion.

The one and only Airstream trailer that's showed up in the RV park in this little town, in about 1999, had one of these. He called it a "slide creeper," but did not need to demonstrate it because he didn't unhitch. I saw it in his curbside aft compartment and asked him about it.

OK, but where do you put this gizmo? On the bottom of the jack post?

I'm not biting....

tell me how a small diameter piece of metal installed in that hole will "walk" or push a 500# tongue weight trailer side/side. I'm assuming that you must always use it on your tongue jack when you unhitch (how else will you raise the jack to put it under it?) I think this item is extinct for a reason.

well ok....

this seems more plausible with gear reduction and a movable plate, I just don't see how you can use a wedge to "push" your tongue around while sitting on two metal plates, especially on soft ground.

I think this is really a jack plate to use on really soft ground.... or an industrial strength undergarment..... "well, Hello, Dolly..."

I thought it was Madonna's latest bullet bra. Isn't she planning another concert tour?
