Seriously, one good thing about a Bambi (or my 22') is that there is a very finite amount of "stuff" that will fit into the trailer. That puts at least some limit on the shopping. I can now walk through Camping World without picking up a single item because I know there is no place in the trailer for anything more.

let me restate my position. i should have said the insurance or the wife. i find the companies are rather expensive. formost wants to insure my truck also. there has got to be a better/cheaper way. mainly i want theft insurance. oh, by the way, i plan on keeping the wife. i think she is too old to list on ebay
You might check AAA... I have had my Airstreams insured there for the last 15 years and their rates have been at least half of what Foremost wants.
On at least 6 occasions I have had to make a claim ( oh, hail again!) and they have been most accomodating.
For my late model 30' rates are about $250 per year and for my early 90's 21' about $150 per year and my 60's trailers are in the $50-75 per year catagory.
The bad news is that you will have to insure a car also... but they have been reasonable on that too.
If you are fulltiming I can understand going to a company like Foremost, but for the rest of us there are other options.
