Very nice. Now I have aluminum sheets I want to build one. One question how did you make the door and jam?

Thanks...

The door opening was by far the hardest to form... The bottom 4 feet where it is straight is fairly simple brake work.

The top 2' is where it gets tricky...I broke and edge on a piece of sheetmetal and stretched the outside to form the curve.. I used a planishing hammer with a special lower die and a flat upper. I dont have a picture but I did two of these pieces and welded them together. Then welded them to the prevoiusly mentioned 'brake work' sections.

Theres actually two door rubbers, ones not pictured below, but it somehow doesnt leak...

There is 1.5" Angle welded to 1" Channel. It forms an L channel once its welded.

Been busy the past week.. Got the top half sealed and insulated and my girlfriend made an awning. Started on the interior end caps last night.

That’s AMAZING!! Did you use a program to design it first?

Thumbs up Plans on the Build Available?

Great work on replicating the Airstream.

Would you sell the plans? I am looking for a similar project and plans are like hens teeth.

Wow, just saw this amazing home-made Airstream. I was thinking about making a Cybertruck-mate with all the angles and stainless steel sheets and was told by my mate that I was crazy. They can't understand the Makers.
