Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a partially restored 1978 Argosy 27 and am looking forward to getting it on the road this spring. We had a 22Prowler some years ago but sold it when we moved to CO 13 years ago.I am an avid (read Rabid) fly-fisherman and intend to take this trailer on several extended trips.I lost my wife to cancer earlier this year so I have nothing but time on my hands.
Happy Holidays,

Merry Christmas

One of my best friends was named Warren, a world war II veteran, he passed on a few years ago.
Merry Christmas to you friend.
Sorry to hear of your loss.
Airstreams will not make up for your emptyness but it might help you to keep busy.
I hear the Stripers are south of Rhode Island now. How far are you from fishing?

Warren, welcome to the forums and Merry Christmas to you as well! There are quite a few people on the forums who enjoy fly fishing, so you're in good company. Congrats on your newly purchased Argosy, too!

check out the 4 corners rally

the person who is coordinating it is an avid flyfisherman. Sorry to hear of your loss, that is why my husband and I are taking early retirement---life is TOO short Debbie

Warren -

A happy holidays to you too!

If you have a chance to get up to Montana, my wife and I will be spending the summer on the Yellowstone River at the Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, which is on HWY 89 between Gardner (Yellowstone Park) and Livingston, MT. For a fly fisherman, or even a non-fisherman, you'd have to look pretty far and wide to find a more convenient and nicer place to stay (it is right on the river bank).

I spend at least part of almost every day somewhere on the river, or other places fishing, and have a boat as well, so if you're in the area and want to do some fishing and swap a few fisherman's stories (I swear I caught some monsters this past year. ) give me a holler.

Our hearts are with you Warren, and hope you find much solace in the beauty of fly fishing, as well as the design of your Airstream.
