New dishes

A couple of months ago, I ordered a set of enameled A/S-themed dishes from MarbleCanyon after seeing them in Trailer Life magazine. They finally came this morning. They will replace the beat-up blue Wally-World stuff that I have used now in four successive trailers.

The thing that really blew me away is the tow vehicle. I actually owned a new Nash Metropolitan in that very same color back in the 1950s. It would never have even towed a Bubble, but it really looks neat.

After "social" evenings, I kept finding my old Metropolitan up on the porch of the Officer's Club. A half-dozen fellows would just pick it up and set there. I would have a heck of a time getting it back off.

A closer shot

Looks just like my old Metropolitan, but my trailer is a bit more current.

Toad

I bought napkins and napkin rings, also. No tablecloth, though.

It would make a heck of a good toad for some of you motorhome guys. Light as a feather and manual transmission. I had a lot of fun with mine.

Re-Metro...

Hi ALL....
Sure is a good looking car, there used to be a lot running around my home town in the mid '60s...but I guess time over took 'em... ...still...I hear the NEW MINI is doing very well over the pond...and the Jaguar too...now that IS a class piece of towing gear...as 4 the MINI...how SMALL is the smallest BUBBLE.
As you Guys know, I LOVE Yr 'ole classics ( '30s-'60s ),
but I drool over the P T CRUISER... friends of ours have one, they are going well over here...even got adverts on the radio 4'em...so I guess it's a fair DEAL....
Sadly U all got the Airstreams...we got overpriced boxes,
well I gotta lot of SHOPPING 2do 2day...so I'll wish ya all a Good-day 2day...an read U all later...Chris.....

Can I get a link or phone number to the company that sells these dishes. They'd look great in my Bubble.

Thanks
Ken

Here is the link

Took several months to get mine. They are made in Thailand and, apparently, shipments are sporadic.

http://www.marblecanyon.org/

I sure like mine.

I ordered their catalog from the website and put in a paper order in late July or early August. That's how long it took to get them. You may be luckier timewise.
