New 30' Bunkhouse

It's nice to see that Airstream is beginning to address the younger families with the new Safari 30' Bunkhouse! That rig could function nicely right through retirement - providing a place for "grandchildren" in the later years! It makes the cost a lot more "bearable!"

I was also pleased to see that they are, once again, posting the MSRP figures.

I wish they'd once again post GVWR, and get the NCC right on all the models.

I just was on the phone with my dealer and was told that production on that model is to begin in March. One of the sales guys saw the prototype and said it was pretty nice.

Other news included the new Classic style motorhome should appear in 2005, with a diesel powered unit scheduled for 2006.

I actually got a chance to see it - very well done in my eyes and not your typical bunkhouse configuration. The layout is very roomy and no stepping over anyone - I think it is being showcased in Louisville, KY at the RV show - someone should be able to grab pics there.
