Maybe this is old news, but it's new information for me!
I called Airstream this morning and they told me that they are about to announce a new 28' Safari. Sounds like it will have about the same floor plan and weight as the 28' CCD.
They also hinted that a 30' Safari was 'in the works'.
Still, I want them to take the front end of a 25' CCD and add it to the back end of a 28' CCD
If the factory says yes then all that is left is to find a dealer to place the order. There may be a modification charge, but it would have to be cheaper than buying a new unit and having to rip out the gaucho and build a dinette.
