If somebody in the Greater Atlanta area who knows a bit about a '63 Bambi could take a look at her this week in Decatur, before she's pulled to Asheville, NC, that would be GREAT!
She's been sitting since my Dad passed in 1980. We've put new tires and rims on her, and cleaned her up, inside and out.
We have this week to get as many utilities working as possible.
It would be great if someone knowledgeable about Airstreams could take a look and help us figure out what can be made to work in a week.
Or, if you know somebody in driving range of Decatur who would be willing to inspect it for a reasonable rate, that would be great.
If you know of a place in greater ATL which services Airstreams, that would be helpful as well.
I can inspect and take digital pictures in this area. I am in Kalispell 59901. I am a mechanic/carpenter and have a lot of rv experience. Very new to airstream.
A good friend of mine (and airstream owner) is heading to southern Jersey this weekend to look at, and probably buy, another 'stream. My concern is that they are not really sure what to look for. I am having trouble with my membership map (my work computer will not recognize the format) and was wondering if anyone in the area might be around to help inspect. I'd like to go down myself, but won't be able to on such short notice. Anyone can PM me.
I'm looking into purchasing a later model Classic and would certainly appreciate someone taking a quick look. As I understand it, the dealership is holding a show at the Fairgrounds. It's being sold by a dealership but there are some "red flags", so I'd appreciate an inspection before I commit.

The state and city the "fairgrounds" are located in would be a good start.
