Need Recommendation for Airstream Transporter

Hi, We need a good recommendation for a transporter to move our recently purchased refurbished '56 Airstream from North Dakota to Tulsa, OK.

Look up UShip.com or google Hot Shot Haul companies. UShip is an online thing for shipping things that are less than truck load or people who can not afford company truck rates. I know serveral truckers who supplement thier truck income by hauling things in the empty space they have on a partial truck load, there are others who do this to make money hauling things in their private vehicle. Hot Shot Companies are truck companies who haul goods using 1 ton trucks pulling flat trailers, some do camper/boat moves only. You might also ask any trailer sales places in both areas because they have people that haul their trailers or list so that anyone wanting a trailer moved will contact them, the reason I say at both ends is because you never know when one from where you are heading to may have a haul go to or near where your trailer is and can bring it back with them, it is commonly refered to as a "back haul" which means the truck collects money both directions. Sometimes if they have a haul that pays round trip they will cut you a deal on the return trip.
If there is anything I can do to help let me know.
I am in the process of setting up the same type of business,

Sarge

I had a trailer delivered to me via uship.com just this last week. The driver that brought a 34ft Excella to my studio was absolutely professional, and his tow rig was perfect. PM me if you want details on this.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

First off, welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

With a restored 1956 Airstream, I would look into one of the classic car transporters. They use great care and are fully insured.

You can find these transporters through Hemmings Motor News at Hemmings Motor News: Auto Classifieds - Hemmings Auto Classifieds feature cars for sale nation wide..
