Neat Old Camper Photo Gallery

Ran across this while trying to find pictures of Transvans:

Still on the Road.

There's some funky old motorhomes on it and an Airstream too!

Smile I loved the photo of the Airstream with the purple flowers

John,
Cool idea to post these. I think I saw that schoolbus with the wood siding and the partial 2 story (Quartzite locale) at Wheatland one year, maybe just a copy cat...

Wheatland, eh? I learn something new everyday. That's here in MI? Can't believe I haven't heard of it before. Is it a fun time?

We like it, bluegrass, folk, traditional, cajun music. The year after O Brother Where Art Thou the Whites played some of the showtunes there.

You can camp there, I wouldn't but I'm not a college kid, if I were, I would. Lots of late night partying, not too kid friendly if that's an issue--I tent camped there once pre child that was enough for me. Friends who camp/perform there often advise against camping as its a hassle there.

But on Sundays you can get a day pass (that's what many do) and go in hear the great music, see the arts and crafts, taste the great food. They have a cajun dance spot where people who like to dance can jam along with the performers. Its up near Mt. Pleasant.

Hunh. I want one of the longer bodied 67-68's someday, but I don't think I want to pay $195k for one. Or maybe Overlanders go for more than I thought?
