My new Airstream

My new Airstream finally came in and I had the opportunity to take it out on the road last evening. So far, so good. This weekend, I am going on my first trip to Bisbee, AZ and am looking forward to having a great time.

For those of you that would like to know, the build date was 10/03. Everything looks great with the unit and minus a few dinky things that the dealer is correcting, I have nothing to complain about.

I'll post an update after my trip this weekend.

OK your gonna kill me here but I have to ask, since I aspire to one day to purchase new (easy people...nothing against vintage, I own a '66), but what did it cost you out the door?

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I promise to post some more pictures on Monday.

Nellie, if you'd like to contact me privately, I'd be happy to answer any of your $$$ questions.

Hey Josh. Hope you're having a great inaugural weekend with your new 25' CCD SS. Now you'll get to change your profile -- I hope to be right behind you. Thanks to your help and others we are going through pricing with several dealers on the same trailer. We just came from one this morning and headed to another dealer in a week...

Me too -- what color interior did you get? Anybody seen one of these in lemongrass yet? (Other than the partial images on the 22 footer on Colonial's website)

You've told me you got the Window Awning option. Which windows does that include? Individual awnings? Full length roadside awning?

You must wonder why you can't run your A/C while on the road -- sounds like a better question than the up north usual about the heater... Your sunglasses are on right now anyway, not pulling out the pac boots and snow shovels like us summertime users. M*** it all! But for you --

ENJOY!!!

Bob & Susie
