minor improvements
Our 25classic is a year old and like our two previous AS has received some project attention. A quick summary follows. If these items have already had a forum visit, our apologies. We've been camping a lot and haven't tuned in for a while.
1.Back of propane cover drilled and shaped to accept the compartment door latch - holds it open.
2.City water changed to quick connect and outside spigot changed (no antisiphon). Allows normal orientation - no crossover.
3.Opening kitchen sink cabinet door contacts the pantry corner and if bumped (I did) will crack the door. Brass strap and acrylic strengthened it.
4.Coat closet floor got a latch to hold it open when accessing the water pump.
5. Bath required midday light use -- wasted amps. Removed black exhaust fan cover, cut out the top and installed clear acrylic.
6.Bath light switch use lit shower -- more wasted amps. Put a rubber booted toggle on the shower light.
7.Compression struts on the bed changed to 100lb (from 90). Added a strap to the foot of the bed. Much less lifting effort required.
8.Drawers under the bed latched for travel. They now stay closed enroute.
9.Drilled out the holes and sharpened the clevis pins used to hold the sliding rear compartment closed.
10.Our big project was the solar panel but this subject has had lots of forum attention.
