Metal Tornado

Hi,

This week my 69 Caravel will be getting its 15 minutes of fame as it is used in a SCi Flic called Metal Tornado. METAL TORNADO. The scene will have it in a field with an actress inside doing the dishes while a "magnetic" tornado rips across the field and sucks the trailer up into the sky. I confirmed the the "sucking up into the sky" was all computer graphics and that my baby will be unharmed.

It should be fun - I'll post pics from the set when done.

P.S: I finally got to tell my wife that the trailer is starting to make us money!

I searched in the guide on my Directv DVR for Metal Tornado but can't find anything. The guide goes out two weeks. any other info on what day time? could it be listed under another name

It's not on TV this week; it is being filmed this week.

I laughed to when they told me about the magnetic tornado plot. I thought, should I tell him that aluminum is not magnetic????? but then I thought of my big hulking rusty frame and decided it won't be the least believable scene.

I guess it takes a long time to complete a movie.
They filmed the scenes with my airstream last July and they have now completed the post production work.

Very cool! I saw it twice in the movie trailer.
But my husband had a question, why did an aluminum trailer get sucked up in a magnetic tornado? Don't the movie people know that aluminum is not magnetic? LOL

I was going to tell them that but they seemed pretty intent on using the trailer so I figured oh well, it does have a metal frame.

The movie is on TMN this week and next week too.

I can't get that so let me know how it looks.
