Members photos

I thought you could click on a name in a user's post and there was a menu item to view members photos.

That does not seem to work anymore.

Am I out in left field here or is the feature gone now?

Good idea. First we have to add our trailer type, now our photo page.... Man is this thing going down hill or what

The latest upgrade seems more like a downgrade. The photo links, locations, trailer or MH model and thumbnail images are gone. Just when I get used to one system, Andy changes it. Well, I'm sure it's all for the better but it will be great if it ever gets completed.
Hey Tim, I just noticed the videos on your home page. Nice job.

Ya I agree. Sometimes we need to consider why we are upgrading instead of just doing it for the bigger revision number. I used to do it all the time like with my quicken, but I never needed the new stuff. But each time I'd have to learn a new way of doing something, and it would run slower on my computer.... careful what you ask for!

Thanks about the videos. Glad you enjoyed them.

I am not that computer literate and I can't do that much on these things. Sooooo...I really miss not being able to access the photos easily and not knowing where a member is from at a glance. I was able to put two photos of my trailer on the forum at one time, now I can't even find those. Is there any way we can petition the powers that be to go back to the way it was?

Unfortunately sometimes the software vendors don't always document things that you lose when you upgrade....and to make matters worse they sometimes change file formats which keep you from going back. This database is so big that reverting to a previous version of the software may mean a lengthly reload and subsequent down time.

Hopefully some of this stuff will eventually make its way back.

For now if you click on the poster's name and then select view public profile, you will get location, and trailer info.

Jack

Thanks moderators...I thought there was just a rash of no photos anymore, I'm glad I ran into this thread. It is a great feature to check on people's progress, ideas and how-to; I use it a lot.

as long as we're griping...

I also noticed that when I go to my subscribed threads, the ones that people have posted to aren't in bold anymore!! I'd have to surf every one to see if someone's replied to my posts. It's killing me!!
