One thing I've learned - and I'm guilty of it myself - is that Airstream owners love to show off their campers. You just need to find someone within striking distance... I'm sure there are some.

My shop is in Plattsburgh, NY just across the lake from Burlington Vt. I have a lot of client trailers here under various states of restoration. Although I don't typically sell trailers, I do come across them regularly & may be able to point you in the right direction once you have a good idea of the size & era you're interested in.
