Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. I finished my Chemo/Radiation two weeks ago today, next I have a CT Scan on the Th (next Thursday), and then I am scheduled for a Whipple Procedure on November Th. It will require a six month to a year recovery. (Pretty scary)! I so look forward to next spring/summer to take the GT out I sure have missed camping and rallies these past two years (glad for the few small trips last year). I can not express the gratitude that I have for all the forum members here that have kept us in their thoughts and prayers and supported us while we have been in this tough time in our lives. Thank you all so much. I will try to let everyone know the results of the CT Scan next week.

Cory, glad the chemo & radiation portion of your treatment is over with. What a major hurdle! We're keeping you in our prayers - do keep us posted on the CT scan results. Keep thinking about getting back out there and camping in your Airstream!

Cory it's great to hear, or in this case see your voice.

You've been through a huge hurdle now and I pray the CT scan will show the best possible outcome from all your hard work. Your silver circle of Airstreams out here will continue to surround you with love, good wishes, and prayers.

More Lemons

Well I had my CT Scan on Thursday and it showed that the tumor has grown in spite of the the Chemo/Radiation therapy. So now the surgery is off and I have to go back to Seattle on Monday and meet with my Oncologist to decide what options are still left. I am still strong and not willing to give up, I will fight as long as I can.

Cory, I'm sorry to hear about this discouraging news. Hopefully the oncologist will have some ideas about what course to pursue next. Be strong Cory - we're praying for you.

You are fighting the ulitmate fight, Cory, and if positive thoughts from your fellow forum members are good weapons, you are well armed.
You sound very determined and positive, and that's such a huge part of the battle. Your doctors and family will guide you in finding a way through this crummy set-back. In the meantime, our hearts are with you.

Cory, I'm so sorry to hear about the CT findings. You ARE a fighter, with a few thousand of us cheering for you. You are still in our prayers. I'm hoping the oncologist Monday will give you some good options.
