Lemonaide for sale!!!!!

Hey life keeps throwing me lemons so why not start a lemonade stand?
Last Friday my mother suffered a stroke that has left her left arm paralyzed. She is very hard to understand her speech, but she has regained use of her eyes, left leg and some of her speech. I was able to visit with her over the weekend and then back to Seattle for my treatments. I am still very strong and I will beat this cancer, I know that I will. The prayers are so helpful, so please include Anna Harrington in your prayers also. Thank you all for your support, thoughts and prayers I appreciate them all so much more than mere words can express.

Cory...so sorry to hear about your mother...we hope she gets better real soon... Just what you needed...something else to worry about. But try not to do that, and just concentrate on getting yourself better...

Pulling for you...

Cory,

You must be getting into quite the routine. Just letting you know the prayers and thoughts are still headed your way - for you and your family. The stress of your mom's situation just added a whole dimension you hadn't needed, but things go in strange ways. Sometimes it helps to have someone else you love needing you to get better so they can too.

When you can, let us know how it's going.

Take care,

Barry

Thoughts and Prayers!!

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and Prayers!!
My mother passed away on September 10TH within ten minutes of being removed from life support. She is in a better place and no longer in any pain. My side effects became so severe that I could no longer eat or drink anything, so the doctors have had me take last week and this week off (my blood levels-platelets, white cell and red cell are also too low for treatment). So as I recover I have been dealing with mom's estate. I have an older brother that is mentally retarded, and he lived with mom so now I am applying for guardianship of him. So now we are also looking for a larger house to accommodate him living with us too. There are so many things to deal with every day before I go back for treatment on Monday. Thanks again to everyone. I appreciate it more than mere words can express, you help keep me strong.

Aw Cory, you've got a full load there. Hang in, you've been through so much - you really don't need this also. But you will make it.
Thanks for bringing us up to date so we can keep you in our prayers.
Dave

Very sorry to hear about your mom. You have a full load on your shoulders as does your wife and rest of the family. They are also in our prayers.

Cory, I'm so sorry about the loss of your Mom. The are no words to express the sadness from the loss of one's mother. As you've said, you are strong. Your strength is being tested more than seems fair. Hang in there, go one day at a time, and we are all praying for you.
