Cory

Just letting you know we're thinking about you out here.

In the not too distant future you will look back at this and think "holy crow, man, I did it". You can give your heels a click (I'd never tried that old Fred Astaire thing until I was 40) and get on with a happy life.

Barry

Hi Cory,
Once again I just wanted to send you some encouragement, I hope you're doing OK, keeping that positive outlook, looking to the Great Physician.
Thinking about you,
Dave

A quick update

Well I started treatment on Monday and that was a real tough day, three Chemos and radiation. It took from 8am till 4:30 pm for all my treatments to be done. Then I went to our hotel and was so tired and sick feeling. Slept from 8 PM till 11 AM Tuesday and then had to visit the porcelain god. Tuesday was not so bad once I got up and around, only radiation, walked down at the waterfront as much as I could (exercise is good for me). Today was OK had two chemos and radiation drove around a little but not so much walking. Thank you everyone for your replies, prayers and donations they are all so greatly appreciated.

Positive thoughts headed your way, Cory!

Cory, you have a rough road ahead, but you and your wife will be in my thoughts as well as those of us in your Airstream family! Talk to your doc about getting something to combat the nausea.

Hang tough!

Cory,

Call the hospital patient services. They helped me get hotel rooms in Tampa at a very reduced rate, and they may know of a campground very close that you can use or may be able to get realy good rates for hotels or motels. Most major medial centers/hospitals offer this service.

I wish you the very best and you will remain in our prayers. he=oughs work, just ask us.

Marie

Hi Cory. Thought your thread could use a bump to the top. You must be a week into your treatments now, one down and four to go. We're all still pulling for you and praying for you.

Hi Cory, we're praying for you here. You are fortunate that you're in Seattle with the cancer alliance and some of the best doctors and professionals in the field of medicine working together to get you better! Both my parents had extended stays there, one ten years ago, and one 8 years ago, and both are still doing very well. We look forward to hearing about your progress and look forward to showing you our AS and getting to see yours once you are feeling better and back in Yakima. We're only a couple miles away from you, so holler if you need anything!
