Rivet Maybe I should tell you more about this lil "home" of mine

As I can assure you we did not get this RV in the greatest of conditions, the person who sold it to us didnt treat it with the greatest of respect but I know with the things i have planned for it she will be as good as new. We have a slide out couch that pulls into a full sized bed, has two bunks and is a real nice size for the two of us our three cats and two dogs, lol i have a big family. And as i said we need the blueprints to make the repairs and fix her up. Most ppl would ask why am i bothering, well I am bothering because i only paid 1500 for it and its a roof over my head for sure. But that isnt the main reason, the main reason is because I love my Airstream. Thats my main reason.

Blueprints

Sorry, but you will not find blueprints for old Airstreams (or pretty much any old trailer).

The electrical and plumbing systems in Airstreams are fairly simple and really have not changed appreciably over the years. Some careful tracing of wires and pipes should tell you most of what you need to know.

If you have floor problems, then search this forum for heaps of advice on replacing anything from a small section to the entire floor.

Exclamation blueprints

Actually, your 1975 model is not so "old" (or vintage that is). There are blueprints and floorplans available for the mid 70's models.

You can buy a service manual for that unit from Secretarial Services or you may keep your eyes on EBAY. I am almost certain that I seen a 1975 manual sell less than a few weeks ago.

You may be able to get someone on this forum to share their manual with you.

If you call Airstream, they could probably point you in the right direction.

Good luck with your restoration

I just bought a service manual form secretarial services. I had to buy the one for a 1977 Airstream and I have an 1977 Argosy. I would say it is about as close as I will ever come to haveing a service manual. I would have to say that it should be right on about 85% of the time. The cost is with shipping is $85.00.
You can reach them at (937) 492-8885.
