Talking Making a documentary about trailer life

Hi everyone, I' m Yoame, a mexican filmaker student. I'm researching for a documetary project called TRAILER LIFE which will be about the people who lives in that wonderful way. I feel lost in that topic because I've never been travelling and staying in trailer parks. I' m looking for some advises about places to visit ( I'm thinking on dessertic landscapes, - Texas, Arizona or California-) any place where I can find friendly peolple that wants to share experiences and let me interview them. Good and cheap trailer parks (costs and contact info will be great) I'm going on september to US, so I don't know if it is a right moment to get people in campgorunds. I think I will rent a car, but I don't know if it is the best idea ( Are ther any possibility of camping or staying in bungalows or hotels inside the trailer camps? Can I rent a motorhome for to weeks? How much is that?.
Thank's in advance to all of you that read that message.
Any info will be great.
Yoame

Greetings and welcome to the forum. Kampgrounds of America or KOA has cabins, in over 500 locations, as well as a multitude of other campgrounds across the USA. KOA is not know as the cheapest place to stay, though.

You may want to do a google search for "RV Rentals" and see what you come up with.

Other RV forums that will help you out are:

Hope this helps you in your endeavors.

airstreams in the movies

i just got home this evening and started to view some interesting threads that were posted on the 30th post or bottom page last post on the home page. before i could save it to my favorites for future viewing it had expired. it had something of a movie to be airing sat on hbo with trtacey ulman and a vintage airstream. im hoping that page will come up again with all the interesting movie posts from those who responded to the thread and listed these a/s movies in response to the a/s and movies thread. i do remember seeing an a/s movie with a couple guys/girls that meet in a casino in las vegas and go back to the girls home an old airstream land yacht, one is quite a chcracter and actor, the other cant get over his wife who has dumped him, dont remember the name of it. ive really been striking out on the last few a/s movies that aired recently, missed antique rvs on the history channel and a&E'S DOCUMENTARY OF AIRSTREAM ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL,HOPE THESE COME AROUND AGAIN, WAYNE WUNDER 62 GLOBETROTTER/99 SAFARI

A friend of mine is going to tape the Tracy Ulman thing on HBO. I saw the hit in one of those people magazines. Looks like it should be a real hoot. It is set to air Sat. Aug. 9, at 7 pm. Central time.
Have you ever seen Chris's Airstream on Northern Exposure? Anyone? What A/S is it? I sure do miss that show. But I do have quite a few on tape that I love to watch when I'm camping.
