Hey, Everybody.
Today I was out checking junk shops and antique shops for some small silver colored SnP shakers. I came across a small stack of older National Geographics, some of them before pictures on the covers. Now I know that there was one or more from the later 50s that featured a Wally Byan Carravan Through Europe.
I am happy to say that one of them was the June
1957 issue.
pgs. 769- 816, I havent read it yet but there are some good pictures. One of my favorites is a down the line shot, I counted 20 trailers till they faded into the distance. Another is an overhead view of a greeting reception,I think there's 8 or 9 trailers in that one. There is a couple shots of Wally himself, holding court.
Out of a half dozen or so shops.
That one National Geo. was all I bought but it was still a good day junk shopping.
