Lost E-mail

Somebody named Eric just sent me an e-mail about floor replacement. I accidently deleted it thinking it was for a PM so I can't answer it. Eric if you send me a private message (PM) i can answer your question.

So, You deleted the e-mail from your PM inbox or from your personal e-mail?

Do you remember his "handle"? You may be able to find him through a member search.

The message arrive in personal e-mail and I confused it with a e-mail notification of a PM. I read it then deleted it and when I went looking for the PM I realized my mistake. He did not give a screen name just his first and last name. For privacy reasons I will not publish his last name here in the open forums.

Are we talking email or PM? If it is email and you haven't deleted anything from your "Deleted" folder in your email account; it should still be there. If so you can move it back to the "In Box". You can even read it in the "Deleted" folder. That's the way it works in "Hot Mail".

It was an e-mail and I am in the habit of as soon as I delete and e-mail I go to the deleted folder and empty it as well so it is gone forever into cyberspace.
