Loss of an Airstreamer

My name is Nancy and I am the daughter of Kay and Roy (Carnegie1935)

I wanted to let you know that we lost my dad to COPD today. He loved his Airstream and so wanted to take some more trips, but it just wasn't to be.

My Mom reads the forum everyday like it was a newspaper and she is always telling us how to do things to the MH according to something she has read on the forum.

Thank you for all the help and enjoyment that you have given them.

Mom may keep the MH and do some traveling with a friend or grandchild. Too soon to tell . I know that she will be back online as soon as she gets her free time again

Nancy

We are so sorry to hear that. Hopefully your Mom will be able to do some more Airstreaming.

hi nancy

thanks for sharing your loss with us.

and hope his death wasn't painful.

i see he had a birth day coming in 1-2 days?

if it isn't too painful or private, perhaps you'd like to share with us...

some stories about your dad and mom...

this would be meaningful to read.

and it's nice to know she enjoys coming here now....

cheers

Sorry to hear of your loss in his passing. I know words won't help here. As you can tell the forum really does come together for it's own at a time like this.

Nancy, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, for getting through this tough time.

Fathers need not fathers be.
All one needs to do is choose
To love for life, and that embrace,
Held long and hard, bestows the grace
Each craves. For all in time must lose,
Restored alone by memory.
So now it is with you and me.
