If there is anyone out there who can recomend a good attorney in or near Jackson Center?
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I live 500 miles from there and I unable to look myself.
uh-oh, what happened? Some might argue that "good attorney" is a non-sequiter. Good luck with this!

Tphan,
Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond alot of personal issues to deal with has kept me busy. It basically comes down to my trailer got damaged due to their neglect and AS/Thor are not wanting to settle the issue. See the link I started; Need opinons on what I should do? at Need Opinions on what I should do
Best Idea is to google or use the online yellow pages for Attorneys in Shelby County,Ohio . If you go to court it will probably be in that county. IF you have no luck I could possible give you the names of several good attorneys in Dayton,but I have no idea if they would take the case.

My your roads be straight and smooth and may you always have a tailwind!
knowing what specialization might be helpful... or does 'warranty' coverage, 'lemon' law, and general manufacturer tom-foolery all fall in the same category?

Joe,
No this is not a new trailer or one under warrenty. This is a case where I left my trailer to have work done and it got damaged by a storm because of someones neglect in not securing the awning.
Sarge, I gave you some tips on how to find a lawyer in the thread linked by 2air; see post 14. Certainly if you have a lawyer close to home, that would the person who knows how to find a lawyer in Ohio. Asking people near JC is another way, of course. For a lawyer to take this on a contingency basis would mean he or she believed there was a substantial chance of winning a large amount; otherwise it is not worth the time expended on it. Otherwise, a lawyer will ask you to pay an hourly fee.

Gene,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to this post, I have had alot of family health issues going on.
I did take your advise and have been trying to work it out, so far those that I have heard back from will not take the case because of some sort of involvement with AS, Thor, one of its sister companies, or they have someone that works there.
This is what I suspected would occur given that Jackson Center is a small town in farm country with a large company.
To All;
I geuss what it has come down to is;
1) Of the attorneys that have responded, and those that have not are most likely the same reason and that is they are involved with AS/Thor,
2) I live over 500 miles from there and I have no one in that area to help me find an attorney, Not even on here which I was hoping that someone who lives there would help.
AS/Thor let my trailer get damaged due to their neglect, and they are going to get away with it.
So what will happen now is I will just drop the issue, I will either keep the trailer and take the loss because of the damage and it will never be worth anything, or settle with my insurance and take a $7000.00 dollar loss on all the new stuff installed because AS did not tell me about all the damage and I had work done because I did not know.
