Question Lookin for answers

Hello! My husband is on the road to pick up our newly acquired 78 Argosy Minuet. We are completely new to trailer ownership, but are very excited. Is there anything anyone would suggest he look for or check over once he has arrived at the trailer site? The owner says everything works, says it has electric brakes he has not used. It will be traveling quite a long distance once my husband starts back, so want all to go smoothly. Thanks Leigh

Go to www.vintageAirstream.com and there is a checklist on what to look for when buying/restoring.

Unless the tires are less then 3 years old, replace them. It's not worth tearing up the trailer due to dry rot tires. Also repack the wheel bearings and check the lights and brakes.
