We saw an opportunity yesterday morning, drove across the state, and rolled back into the driveway at about 1am with this little tag-along. I'm still tired, but was too excited to sleep any later. Had to share some pictures with y'all

Stefrobrts
I hope you didn't sneak over to the East side to get it. I would be humiliated if I missed a beauty like that.
This one feels like a boy to me Must be because it was a hunting camp.
It's a 16 ft, 1962 Bambi. I'm guessing it weighs even less than our Caravel, which is a foot longer, because it was even easier to pull over the mountains. And yes, Gary, I snuck over and stole it from your side of the state.
It doesn't really fit into my plans to have a bigger AS to fix up (maybe I could hook them end to end like a train). This was pure aluminitis at work. My husband says on the way over "we'll look it over with our HEADS, not our HEARTS" and then as soon as we saw it we both went "AWWWWW, it's ADORABLE!!!"
It's really in pretty good shape. Mostly cosmetics. The only dent is from where the door flew open on a trip. It's going to look good shined up, because it's pretty blotchy now. It just needs a few missing cushions inside, and to match up the materials, and replace some missing pop rivets here and there. Actually someone could take it camping right now if they wanted to. Maybe I could get my father-in-law interested in going camping with us. Either way, it looks like a fun little summer project.
AAAWWWW I want one...
Steph, from reading your posts , you always were one who could'nt resist a cute little stray looking for a good home.
Congrats, Bob
I can see why your "hearts" took over! I like the train idea. LOL

Hey... great find, Stephanie! It's always nice to see one of the Bambis back in use, particularly in the condition in which you found that one! What a deal!
Roger
