Look Out- Not sure if it was a scam!
As you know I often sell a gem here and there.
I had advertise locally a trailer and a gentleman from
Scottsdale AZ, contacted me and preached on and on,
about internet scams and the like. He sounded convincing
enough for me to consider it sold.
Here is what he explained.
If I gave him my routing number, not my account number,
he would be able to wire to my bank the accorded amount.
Then after the wire was completed, I could walk into the
bank and using my ID the bank would hand my my money.
Well I gave him my bank information, and the routing
number on Friday.
Was out of town on the weekend enjoying my Silver on wheels,
and out of touch thusly.
Get back on Tuesday, to find out
that he was now demanding
a full refund of his alleged deposit.
He explained that after wiring into my
bank the amount of $1500 he had
changed his mind as I had not been able
to collect it Friday before departing on my
trip.
I check with my Bank and explained to them
the details of my transaction, and was
told that there is no way an institution
can receive an amount without a routing
number.
Now he wants his money back!
Well I am not budging, since I never
collected his deposit.
Now I spotted him on ebay
as he is selling a couple of
Silverstreaks, One a moho the other
a trailer.
I am not going to give out his name,
as that is too much of a personal attack
I am only going to share my experience
and hope it was all on the up and up.
