Considering 80% of the posts on these forums are about fixing problems or improving design flaws or construction inadequacies in our airstreams, I say the opposite. Those SOBs have so much bling that when bling breaks, you can have a good time. But everything on an airstream is functional, and the only things that can go wrong generally lead to immediate discomforts of the not dry, not washing, legs crossed or can't tow variety.
I want to put on some electronic gizmo on my next airstream so IT can break, and "protect" the rest of my airstream, a bit like a sacrificial anode on a ship
