Can I install a ladder on my 2012 classic 31

It's your trailer. You can do anything you want to it.

The end caps will not support your weight.
If you add a ladder on the side the trailer will be wider than the law allows.

So probably not a good idea.

A portable ladder is a better idea for accessing the roof.
