Hello all, due to a family health matter, we have been stuck here in central Florida since last spring, only able to look at our trailer in the back yard. There is a possibility of 14 days where we can get away, (my lips to gods ear), and would LOVE to go back to Key West since it’s close by. Does anyone know of any campsites that are open?? The KOA in sugarloaf says they are closed thru the summer.
Any suggestions??
We hope you all have a great week!

Boyd's and Blue Water Key are the ones I know of. We stayed at BWK last year. One of the top RV parks in the country but you are going to pay. Its also 30min from Key West.
We didn't stay there but Boyd's looked good to me if they have aval.
While living in Old Town Key West we enjoyed Geiger Key. It anchors the opposite end of the spectrum from Bluewater Key -- a bar, restaurant, live music on weekends, and an RV park. All of which is laid back in a manner that's difficult to find in today's keys.
Google Map says it's 18 miles from Key West -- just off Big Coppitt Key.
The RV park is not large, so finding a space may be difficult.

Not sure if you are still looking, but this recent thread has some good ideas for the Keys:
