I have been so wrapped up in the other off topic thread that I almost forgot about the rest of the forum!

3 weeks to get your bearings packed? Are they doing other things too?

MaShep, thanks for putting it together...we didn't have anyway to take the pic together and as good as I am with networking, photo manipulation is't one of my strong points!

BTW, I sent in last week a new plate request for the Safari. Looking to see if they will give me TWINKIE...be pretty neat, but we'll have to see if the DMV has it avail.

Eric

That's really nice, Linda... but it's not realistic. Are you trying to blackmail Brandi or something? I happen to know that she would NEVER be seen in public with Eric much less be captured together in the same photo... and it's no wonder...

Wow, they let you burn an open flame??? If I tried that in my neck of the woods, the polution police would be giving me a visit....unless that flame was propane. Mine is 3 miles away sitting in the storage lot. So near but yet so far.

Well it really is frowned upon, but since the portable fireplaces have come out, it's kind of like a zoning violation. Don't ask, don't tell, but if someone complains, well, you know the rest.

Well I'm complainin' ! I opened the window that night and I'm sure that northeast wind blew some of that smoke right in my window. Man oh man..there's always one in the crowd!

Hey you could move to Illinois....at least there wouldn't be property taxes every year on your coach.......just high real estate tax on your house....in the meantime, watch your electric jacks Canavera, I was after Roger's but now, I might reconsider who to pilfer from!

BTW, the local board told me that your claim was unfounded as the smoke had to have come southwest to hitcha.......

Of course, Roger's plans for a nuclear reactor in a residential neighborhood have since made me go to work, so if you read some rads....well, then guilty as charged.

going out for a week

We're heading out for a week in Southeast MO...kids are on Spring Break and will hit St. Francois SP Saturday then head to Hawn SP for Sunday through Sunday... I got the itch really early this year and took the kids "camping" New Years Day... 28 that night. Have been out three times since then with nights getting into the thirties and forties. Days have been great hiking weather though.

Our friends still don't think we "camp" in a MH...but we have done and still do the tent thing when the need arises. I just can't convince the kids to stay out there all night!)

That settles it Jack...parts of your new coach are mine after you and Patty fall asleep! Roger is off the hook!

Zamboni can wait to see you and the rest of the folks in June!
