Jackson Center 2005

Here are some pics of the trip out to the factory and the surrounding area.

Enjoy!

PS- I know there is an issue going back to page 1 after going to other pages.

Ok, this is backup again.....and here are some additional links:

http://www.silvertwinkie.org

This link is original trip that we took to Jackson Center in December 2003 when we went to pick up our new Safari.

This link has the recent trip to Jackson Center in late April of 2005 for for some service work. I took a small self guided tour of the Henschen axle plant and also went on a small drive around the area and found the Honda Transmission Plant. From what I gather, these will be the last photos I'll be able to take at the factory since I've heard they no longer allow cameras in the plant during the tour.

This link was our Lake Michigan Circle Tour where we stayed around Picture Rock National Lakeshore in the U.P. of Michigan, and later met up with our friends at the Summer 2004 Midwest Forum Rally.

This last link was a small gathering we made I believe late in 2004 with a small group of friends here from the forum at the Mississippi Palaceds.

just looked over the jc tour photos....nice job.

for anyone that's been on the tour most of your shots need no description. it's interesting that i ended up with many of the same pic from the same angles.

i know you went several times as did i. for me i tried to focus on different issues for pics each time i went and finally took one tour without the camera to just enjoy the process.

i read here that they NO LONGER ALLOW cameras? how can that be? what a shame.....then i started wondering who did what to prompt the change.

anyway enjoyed repeating the tour with your photos.

cheers
