Jacks should have a hard rubber flat pad on top to distribute the load os the jack evenly across the frame member. I made a 4 X 4" pad that fits may floor jack and another that fits on my bottle jack post. There are some companies selling ready made post pads and extensions for that purpose. Google it.

I typically carry a bottle jack but one of those ramps came with my latest rig. I almost tossed it as it takes up a lot of storage room but then decided besides not leaking hydraulic fluid it might be of help leveling in some of the more difficult campgrounds. Black Rock Canyon in Joshua Tree comes to mind.

Thx for posting both the original Q and this elec jack. I intend on buying this when I get home. I will take off the tire of my single axle trailer, lower. To the ground and see where to put jack and if it will then lift. Ie in worst possible situation. Currently on the road will be home mid Nov.
You may be shocked when you see how little room you have to stick a jack, when replacing a flat tire.
